Neha Pathak, MD, FACP, complete her VAQS fellowship in 2017 and is VAQS faculty at the Atlanta VA Healthcare System. Along with her Primary Care Practice, she was Site-PI for the multicenter PACT Intensive Management Pilot Program, focusing on care coordination for high needs veterans.
Dr. Pathak is currently Chief Physician Editor, Health and Lifestyle Medicine at WebMD, where she is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of health information on WebMD and hosts WebMD’s Health Discovered podcast. She has written award-winning articles on topics related to lifestyle and environmental impacts on health for WebMD and Medscape.
Dr. Pathak is dual board-certified in internal medicine and lifestyle medicine with a focus on implementing programs to deliver nutrition, physical activity, social connection, and stress-management prescriptions to maintain health, manage chronic conditions, achieve health equity, and address the planetary health/climate crisis. Her work has been published in medical journals, textbooks, and the lay press.
She graduated with a BA in psychology/biology from Harvard University. She received her MD with honors in community service from Cornell University’s Weill Medical College. Dr. Pathak completed her primary care, internal medicine residency at New York Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College. She obtained her certificate in climate change and health communication from Yale School of Public Health.
