Lindsay Vaclavik, MD

I am a hospitalist at the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center and Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. I am a former Chief Resident in Quality and Safety at the Houston VA prior to starting my current faculty position. My interests focus on improving the discharge processes for veterans, simplifying documentation for providers, and providing high value care in the inpatient setting. Outside of my clinical work, I am Core Faculty for the VA Quality Scholars Program and Associate Site Director for the Houston VA Chief Resident in Quality and Safety Program. I enjoy mentoring students, residents, fellows, and faculty in the basics of quality improvement and patient safety and implementation of QI projects.
